
The Sun and Truth Foundation Grant
The Sun and Truth Foundation Grant ("The Grant") was created to support charitable and non-profit organizations making a difference in the Greater Montreal Area, with mandates that coincide with our pillars of focus: health and wellness, community development, and nature and sustainability.

Whether your organization seeks support for a new program, hopes to expand an existing project, or requires funding to cover operational expenses, this Grant is designed to help charitable and non-profit organizations amplify their impact.

Each Grant is valued at $50,000. Applicants must demonstrate a clear, impactful plan for putting the funds to good use.

We prioritize initiatives that align strongly with
at least one of our three focus areas:
Grant eligibility
All applicants must first complete the eligibility quiz to assess whether their organization meets the Grant’s minimum criteria.
The Sun and Truth Foundation’s Grant considers applicants who meet the following criteria:

A registered charity or non-profit organization.

Operates within the Greater Montreal Area.

Align strongly with at least one of our pillars of focus: Health and Wellness, Community Development, and Nature and Sustainability.

Have run active programs for at least one year with a clear commitment to community impact.

Seeks funding for:

A new project
-
An expansion of an existing program
-
Operational support to maintain core services

Grant amount & use
The Sun and Truth Foundation’s Grant offers $50,000, which may be distributed in phases based on project progress. This is a one-time Grant, with no promise of future funding.
Ineligible organizations
The Sun and Truth Foundation’s Grant does not fund the following:

Church/religious groups (i.e. Faith-based groups offering worship or services).

Public schools (i.e. Government-funded elementary or high school).
-
Political/labour/fraternal organizations (i.e. Groups for politics, unions, or social ties).
-
Issue advocacy groups (i.e. Organizations influencing or lobbying public opinion and policy).
-
Service clubs (i.e. Groups with exclusive, fraternal, or other exclusionary requirements, otherwise with no clear charitable mandate).
